AfroFlexaz is an African dance group in Utah creating space for empowerment, community building and cultural expression.
Experience culture through movement
AfroFlexaz brings together people interested in African dance and culture. Through African and African-inspired styles, participants can learn, express themselves, have fun and connect with others.
The goal is not simply to teach choreography. Dance becomes a way to experience culture, build confidence and develop a sense of belonging.
Different backgrounds. Shared movement.
Beginners and experienced dancers can participate together. You do not need to be a professional dancer to learn, grow, enjoy the experience or become part of the community.
